Mindfulness Program
A primary program of our organization will be to introduce Mindfulness to the community. At Peaceful Planet Foundation, we believe that Peace, Health and Wellness or holistic wellness can not be practiced without mindfulness.
Nutrition or what we eat, is often overlooked when it comes to practicing mindfulness. As extensive research has validated, being mindful of what we put in our mouth is extremely important to our physical and emotional health. With this in mind, we created the 5M Program.
Utilizing the tenets of the 5M Program we created the After School Program. We are thankful to Hope Wills, M Ed, RYT 200, for creating the after school yoga curriculum, framework which allows delivery of the After School Program. Our goal is to make this program, which fosters holistic wellness, available to economically disadvantaged school-aged children who would otherwise not encounter or have limited access to this type of program.
If you are an educator or otherwise involved with Houston area schools, please, contact us and we can help bring this program to your school.

These videos are specifically designed to be used in a classroom setting, and as such, no specific space or equipment is needed. This is a freely available source for your school. Please, contact us for additional details.
