Third Ward Community Health Collaborative

The goal of this collaborative is to address health inequity and improve the overall health of individuals living in the historic third ward of Houston. The TWCHC is a rich coalition of numerous  churches, non-profits, individuals, and institutions. In February of 2023, this collaborative was awarded a grant from Episcopal Health Foundation’s Collaborating for Healthy Communities Initiative for 2023-24. 

 

Core Organizations involved in the work of Third ward CHC:  The Cloth(Comprehensive Health and Mental Health threads), Fertitta College of Medicine, Change Happens, Coalition of Urban Resource Experts, Super Neighborhood 67 Health Working Group and Peaceful Planet.
